ki Memories

Kelly at the playground - balancing.

CS: Bazzill, PP: kiMemories, Flowers: Prima, Stickers: AMM, Chipboard: K&Co, Brads: Panduro and MM, bling-bling.

SEI

SEI - Kaboom - goes well with pictures of boys. The title - Precis 8 (Exactly 8) - tells the whole story, the time is 8.00 on Kevins 8th birthday. Both Kevin and the clock are exactly 8.

A Bazzill chip topper, Cuttlebug Olivia alphas, Panduro chipboard covered with silver glitter. The large flower is a QK Revolution die.

3Bugs

It just happens that 3Bugs are my favorites... This clipboard was already planned, for my son who starts 2nd grade next week. He needs a place to put all the papers and documents from school.

3Bugs Jovial Rumble on a crackled-painted clipboard, a Heidi Swapp stamp - Remember - with dark brown ink and embossed with Hologram. I have inked the Bazzill flowers, put some DressItUp buttons on the left side and stickles with acrylic drops on the right side. The chipboard alphas comes from http://www.panduro.se and are painted with burnt sienna acrylic paint and have some drops of stickles on them.

Bo Bunny

I got my new Bo Bunny papers just in time for this challenge, Kelly at http://www.ktcrafts.com carries the whole range of these. I turned it upside down as I wanted the printed flowers in the lower left corner. The photo mat is Bazzill, so are the double tags - QK diecuts - and the flowers are Prima. Flower shaped brads from http://www.youdo.se.

Chatterbox

I needed a new notebook, so this is a 14x14 cm with Chatterbox paper, brown Fabriano, Bazzill and Prima flowers, button brads from Panduro and a wet embossed paper with my nickname on it from http://www.svartvikpaper.com. The ribbon is from American Crafts and works also as a bookmark.

New week - new challenges!

This past week we had 5 new manufacturers to work with at KTCrafts Forum; Chatterbox, Bo Bunny, 3Bugs, SEI and KI Memories. I had papers from all 5 of these, so I started to plan my projects. I didn't want to make only LO's this week, as I had a few other projects planned.

The results will follow in new posts.

I love a good bargain!

I went shopping today and by a coincidence I tripped over some alterable things... I found buckets and watercans at a good price and also some silk flowers that I now will take apart. Check in later to see what I do with this stuff!

Another Daisy D's for the weekly challenge

I could not find any ATB paper in my stash, so I decided to do Daisy D's one more time! I bought clipboards to alter, painted this one in light blue, then a coat of crackling medium and covered with pink. Added a Daisy D's paper, Heidi Swapp clearstamp "Remember", satin roses, ribbon, a metal flower with a bling as center, an acrylic dragonfly, stickles and acrylic drops, a bling border and finally some ATD chipboard alphas.

Ice Cream!

Going downtown during the summer means having IceCream - even if the weather is bad!

PP: DCWV, Ribbons: Panduro, Buttons: DressItUp, Tags: Ellison die-cuts, Photocorners: unknown, Alphas: Panduro.

Crafty kids

Both Kevin and Kelly loves to craft, during a shopping trip they bought seashells and driftwood, I found some bowls and they started arranging the whole stuff! It turned out nice and I documented the process.

CS: DCWV, PP: K&Co, Stickers: Jolee's, Ribbon: Panduro, alphas: Cuttlebug Olivia

Doodlebug

Now that was a hard challenge! I had only two papers and used them both for this LO. CS is Bazzill, stickers unknown, brads, fluid chalk and the flowers and flourishes are QK cut in foam. Some dimensional glaze on the alpha stickers. Photo corners from Decorstix.

Cosmo Cricket

I think it is hard to find papers that suits a boy - often they are in a pale blue color that more gives the idea for a baby boy. However Cosmo Cricket has papers that suits boys of all ages, such as these. I added some fluid chalk, a piece of pearl floss, some metal decorations, stickers from Phrase Café, photo corners and Cuttlebug Olivia alphas. These were cut in doublesided tape and covered with gold foil.

Daisy D's

I found photos of Kelly dressed in pink (as she often is!) on the first day at Fritids. I started with a matching Bazzill, chose Daisy D's Romance as PP and added photo mats in a pale grey-green color, photo corners from Decorstix, Bazzill and Panduro flowers, a button and pearl floss, stickers from Phrase Café and rub-ons from Royal & Langnickel.

Cherry Arte

The Cherry Arte challenge! I choose to use the Sweet Angel paper, matted the photo on pink Bazzill, and made an oval with Sakura Glaze to write in. Added photo corners from Decorstix. Simple but colorful!

I love challenges!

Quite often there are challenges at KTCrafts Forum, and I just can't resist them... This week we were challenged to use some of our stash from 5 different companies, I have made 4 out of 5, as I could not find anything from Around The Block. Come on in and join us at http://ktcrafts.8.forumer.com/portal.php - we have fun!

Last weeks' challenge at KTCrafts Forum

was to make a project using mainly products from one manufacturer.
The documents box below was for the Basic Grey challenge, and here are two LO's, for the American Craft challenge and the We R Memorykeepers challenge.
Belsebub: CS Bazzill, PP American Crafts, Fluid Chalk: Charcoal, Alphas: Cuttlebug Olivia
Souvenirs: CS Bazzill, PP We R Memorykeepers, Tag: Sizzix, Alphas: Basic Grey Blush, ribbon

Documents Box

I needed a place to put away all the papers and documents I've gathered in a kitchen drawer, so away to IKEA I ran, and bought some nice paperboard boxes. This first one is a Kassett for documents, which I started with painting in dark brown, then added crackling medium and so a coat of MM Shopping Bag. I need to work a bit on my painting, this didn't turn out sooooooo good at all places - you have to be fast because the crackling starts immediately. After it had dried I dressed it with Basic Grey papers, added some Prima Daisies, bling flowers, a metal butterfly, dried leaf, ribbon, brads and the sides are stamped and embossed.
I learned a lot on crackling from this project - and it sure was fun to do! Now I have some more boxes to alter, as they come in packages of two, and they will also have this crackled paint...
