Make your own Twinklings!

This is very easy! All you need is PearlEx powder, Gum Arabicum in powder form and water.

Measure 1 part Gum Arabicum to 4 parts PearlEx, mix the powders.

Add water to a creamy consistency, use a palette knife to mix well.

Store in a plastic palette, the "Twinklings" are ready to be used as soon as they have dried. Use them as watercolor paint.

I have bought my PearlEx from http://www.polymerclayexpress.com, very friendly people and incredibly fast service, they take credit cards and gladly ships to Europe!

Make your own Glimmer Mist!

Glimmer Mist is quite expensive, but you can make it yourself!
What you need is: a spray bottle (I found mine at Dollar Store - make-up-department), decoupage lacquer or PVA glue, PearlEx and water.

In a spray bottle, mix equal parts decoupage lacquer and water, about 20 ml of each will go a long way.

Add one knife-point of PearlEx powder, put on the lid and shake well.

Ready to spray!

I embossed the stamp with Frost White stamp pad and Pearlescent White EP. This EP is almost transparent so it needs a colored stamp pad. Do you have any embossing techniques to share, please post a link in comments! My friend Kristy just got an embossing gun and wants to know all the secrets!
