Vintage photos

This LO was eligeble for two challenges, the What can you do with brown and blue at Crop-a-Latte and the Stop collecting Prima Flowers challenge at ScrapAttack.

The picture shows my great great great uncle and his wife. I love scrapping these old sepia toned photos!

Letter box

I bought this letter box (or two... hrrrmmm...) a very long time ago and they have been undressed ever since. Now this first one is all dressed up and ready to rock!

I have used CS: Bazzill, PP: Daisy D's, Flowers: Bazzill and Prima, Brads: MM, Die-cuts: QK, satin flowers and beadcaps.

All Boy

At KTCrafts forum I found this challenge, to be inspired by an ad. I have used CS from Bazzill, PP from Urban Lily and some bling-bling.

Flammentanz - a true red rose

This LO was made for the "What's all black and white and red all over" contest at Crop-a-Latte. I have used Bazzill in black, white and red, Daisy Days from Dream Street Papers, vellum, brads from Accent Depot, Pearl Touch and Acrylic Drops. I have no idea where the papers with the black and white roses comes from.

Coffee Break

For the "Naked Layout Challenge" at http://www.ktcrafts.com I created this LO. It's all about coffee...
Bazzill "Java" cardstock, handwritten text on handmade coffee paper and journaling on handmade cotton paper from http://www.svartvikpaper.com, the picture is a napkin, QuicKutz flourishes, Prima flowers, Heidi Swapp brads. Once the thinking was done (which took four cups of coffee), the layout was made "during a coffee break"!

Vintage photos - inspiration

My mother handed over a bag full of old photos! What a treasure! A lot of photos of me and my brother as kids, but also older photos of our relatives. Of course I am planning to do a heritage album, but will have to do the LO's one by one during a longer time. This is one of the first I did, me and my brother back in 1963. The papers are Junkitz Collectionz Earth, the photo mats are handmade paper with wood grain from http://www.svartvikpaper.com/

Would you like to scrap-lift my LO? Do so, and post a link to it in comments! I would love to see what you create.

Journaling

is one of my weak sides. I have found that it is easier if I watch the photo again and again, and write the journaling in Word, so I can add and change as I come to think of things. This is an LO where the journaling was easy.

The text is printed on handmade paper with Spanish Moss from http://www.svartvikpaper.com/

Altered Telephone Book

Once upon a time there was a black telephone book. Then it met some papers, Prima flowers and other fancy stuff. It decided it needed a re-do, so I took the job! Here is the result of it.

And some more of the 3Bugs!

Here are a few more made with 3Bugs In A Rug-papers:

Who says I like 3BUgs?

Well, it could have been just anyone who has seen my LO's... Here are a few:

Altered Lunch Pail - photo storage

Some time ago I bought a Lunch Pail, but not until recently I got started on it! I decided I needed someplace to store the photos I had picked out to be scrapped, and here it is:

I have no idea at all which manufacturers the papers come from - they are from my pile of unmarked papers. Flowers from Prima and Bazzill, laces and buttons bought at a garage sale, ribbons from Åhléns and Creative Company. I have printed photos in index size and glued onto QK Tags. Chipboards from MM and Heidi Swapp.

I really like this - it brings a certain feeling to my heart everytime I look at it.

Some jewelry, too

Some of my early LO's

from my first months as a scrapper

To start with

my paper clips box made in September 2006

A little more than a year ago

I was going to a crop in Umeå. At that time I didn't scrapbook, and no, I was not going to start. I was quite satisfied with making jewelry and make cards. I went together with my daughter, Jessica.

But during that weekend something happened... I suddenly realized this was another way for me to use my creativity! This was on May, 13. On May, 14 I signed my first LO!

Thank you, all the girls at the crop, for letting me in your wonderful community of scrapbooking!

This is where I start...

... my first blog ever!

Elisabeth, that's me. On the net more known as chinapainter on several forums.

Yes, I paint china, too. And scraps. I like to make cards as well. Every now and then I make jewelry.
